Another reason NPC meetings should be open to the public

    From the Niagara Falls Review:

So when he packed it in this week, we also knew something was wrong at the Niagara Parks Commission. But what? Gale, bound by a confidentiality agreement signed by all Parks commissioners, says he can’t tell anyone. Jim Williams, the commission chairman, says Gale took issue with an unnamed business decision and quit to make a point.

So where does that leave us? In the dark, mostly, which is pretty much the norm when the Niagara Parks Commission is concerned.

Gale’s resignation, shrouded in secrecy and all attempts to find out answers stonewalled, is yet another reason – as if one was needed – for Parks commission meetings to be held in public.
