In a previous post, Sue asked about the building on Victoria Ave right at the top of Clifton Hill. The building was recently painted and the previous tenants are gone. Something is going on.

I stopped by today, and the small sign on the door says that Sugar Mountain Candy Store is opening and they are looking to hire people. I’ve never heard of the place before, but apparently they are popular in the cities the are located.
thanks for the info ..new i could count on you as usual graham
yup..they need another candy store..lol..BUT…what a candy store it is…it’s similiar to rocky mountain candy which has a location in the oulet mall on lundy’s lane and also on the main drag in NOTL..very awesome stuff..the fudge factory has alotta kewl stuff..like the choclate covered apples and marshmallows and stuff..but they take it a few steps further..pretty creative stuff…so..you can load yur kid on candy..then go build a bear…lol
colors are pretty bold…not as bold as charlie’s tho…lol…kinda catchy..dontcha think?…looks kinda kewl..
They have some neat candy but some of the stuff is a rip off. There these mints I like. I can get them for $1.00 at A Buck or Two but they charge around 2.49.
They have some neat and rare stuff plus Jones Soda.
The specialty candy stores never really have great deals. But they have candy you’ll never find anywhere else.
watever happened to Pop Shoppe sodas? i luv those… the old Day Night Pharmacy (now Rexall) had em for 50 cents in summer of 2006, uh, luv em! lol
I’ve seem them at Zellers in Toronto for 99 cents. I love the Lime One.
lol, me too.
i like grape. heheheh
very good candy, awesome store, good place to bring kids. loved it a lot!
I agree! Whenever family visits, it is one of the first places we go too. The candy in this place brings back a lot of memories.
Love that place went there last summer and spent about $50 on candy I wouldn’t be able to find in Georgia
[...] Sugar Mountain Candy Store used to take up both sides of the building they were in. It didn’t take long for it to downsize to just one side, but the other side remained mostly empty. This Spring a new store opened beside it. It is both a Crepe de Licious and a Froshberg Gelato location. I’ve never heard of either, but it sounds good. [...]
