They are still doing a lot of structural work on the old Pilgrim Restaurant. It looks like the entire roof is gone. I don’t know if they are going to tear down the building entirely, or if they are just replacing “parts”. There has been no notice of a public meeting, so my guess is they are just modifying the existing building.
There is still no word on the City of Niagara Falls web site what is going in here.

broke my heart yesterday to see the hotel..funny tho..no roof..yet every sliding door is in place and there are a few ceiling lights on inside..go figure…lol..chris..i heard from my friend that ran the pilgrim that the last they heard..it was gonna be ESM…but..who knows?

Has anyone ever ate at the East Side Mario’s? How is the food and prices but, I would guess if they do go to Clifton hill the prices will go up from when they were at the other location. Anyone know why they left there? Is the old location still Cactus Flats? I forgot where they use to be might of been Lundy’s Lane not sure

wednesday’s is all you can eat pasta days, buy one dish, eat three more free, made to order. prices are good, but ya lexi you’re right…the prices would be higher on the hill.
Ah yes, the joy of living in Niagara Falls, having to leave the city to go to a restaurant :-). The restaurant at the old location has been closed for some time. I imagine that the original closing was caused by the bankrupcy, etc. at the hotel and the uncertainty surrounding it. It always seems to do well.
we have noticed that all the big diners on the hill..kelseys..boston pizza…wendys..burger king…(altho 2 major sites have closed up here in hamilton in the last few months?)..they’re all the same prices as in hamilton…hey..anybody been to that ddz or triple zzz..not sure of the name..it’s on the way to walmart..it’s ALWAYS packed…just wondering if it’s a good hangout….

Yes 100% its East Side Marios the top 2 floors are East Side Marios and bottom floor a gift shop.
