Some older Skylon Tower games and tickets

As many of you have noticed, regular visitor Sara is quite interested in the Skylon Tower and its arcade. She recently emailed me the following:

I am back with the picture from the Skylon Tower. It’s of the Sega R360 arcade game, which is an extremely rare arcade game. Also its important to mention that the R360 is not at the Skylon anymore because we don’t want people going there to play it thinking its there. This picture was taken in the early 90s.

She also emailed me this:

I went to the Skylon Tower today and I received some old amusement ride tickets. I just thought I would share a scan of them with you. Feel free to put this on the blog as well. They are from Cataract Amusements, which is the company that used to provide the amusements for the Skylon.

Hooters Bikini Contest 2007

I debated whether or not to post this, but it is information about a restaurant/bar in Niagara Falls and it’s from their newsletter, so I figured I’d post it.

The latest Hooters newsletter indicates that their annual Bikini Contest will be in Niagara Falls on October 30.
