We are currently redoing our website it has been said I and have agreed that many links on this site are broken and that the site was just unprofessional. Please excuse any down-time we may have during this time. We anticipate this new site to complete by the end of October please look for an opening date and any new details on the site!

Two Trinis in Canada

From the Trinidad & Tobago Express:

I decided to make my annual sojourn, otherwise known as my vacation, to Canada this year. Though I have visited Canada before, it is Christino’s first time to the Great White North. So, it was like seeing it through a fresh pair of eyes, and I guess that’s what made it even more enjoyable…

Another sight that I am never jaded by is that of the magnificent Niagara Falls. One is awed by the sheer magnitude and power of the water cascading over the falls. I guess it almost makes up for the cheesiness of the Clifton Hill area, which leads to the falls. It is here that Christino almost brought up his breakfast.

Cirque X abruptly ends in N.F., Ont.

From Buffalo Business First:

The circus has left town.

In a surprise move, the operators of the Cirque Niagara show in Niagara Falls, Ont., have filed for bankruptcy, effectively closing the show after just two seasons.

Cirque X Inc., Cirque Niagara’s parent company, filed for bankruptcy protection, listing liabilities of $6.7 million and assets of $490,000. The production listed 144 creditors ranging from founder Gabe Macaluso, who is owed $191,136 in back payments and Canadian singer Michael Burgess, who filed a $150,000 claim against the company.

The bankruptcy filing was confirmed by officials from the Niagara Parks Commission, the production’s landlord.
