Jolley Cut off table in talks with hotel company

    From the Niagara Falls Review:

Nothing can change a hotel company’s right to build a 26-storey hotel right along the Niagara Escarpment, but city council wants to take a stab at minimizing the impact its construction would have on the moraine.

Councillors voted to initiate talks between chief administrative officer John MacDonald and Canadian Niagara Hotels aimed at protecting as much of the moraine as possible.

“At least we will know what options we have. Right now, we don’t have any options,” said Coun. Victor Pietrangelo.
