From the Niagara Falls Review:
The word “Fallsview” has been a part of the city’s cultural zeitgeist since as far back as 1898, when the Falls View Bridge was built.
It has been the name of a tourist camp, a school, an observation tower and a fire company, which remains as a service group in the community today.
Most recently, the word has been added to several developments in the city, from small motels to the billion-dollar Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.
Now, a battle is brewing between business owners in the Fallsview district and a Fort Erie man over who legally can use the word.

I can’t believe this man wants total control over this word. Fallsview has been used for YEARS and all of a sudden this man thinks he owns it. Let’s leave this word public for the good of the city!
