From the Niagara Falls Review:
When Brian and Lisa Wagner, an Erie, Pa., couple, decided to visit Niagara Falls this week it was an obvious choice - they were on their honeymoon.
But many Americans base travel plans on what they read and see on TV, said Brian Wagner, a customer service representative for an insurance company.
“Definitely they are influenced by billboards, even if they don’t think they are. If you see something over and over again, it sticks,” he said Wednesday while looking for information about local attractions.
American travellers are vital as the Niagara Falls tourism industry tries to rebound after a few sluggish seasons.
