The former Vacation Inn on Stanley Avenue has become a Days Inn. It looks like Days Inn has modernized their logo. It’s much more colourful and I think more appealing.

I was on the Days Inn website and the logo on the site is the old logo. Maybe these owners decided to just name the hotel Days Inn, and made a similar sign? I doubt this is the case, but I have seen instances of independent hotel/motel ownership doing this type of thing in the past.
The Days Inn Company is changing all their logos to the new one we see here. I’m surprised they haven’t changed the logo on the website.
You go to be kidding me another Days Inn.
There is the one on:
Lundeys Lane
Clifton Hill Casino
North of the Falls
Inn and Suites
Near the falls
Fallsview
Another one would be a joke.
I hope it is just using the name but not part of the same company. If I were the owners I would get a chain that doesn’t have as many properties.
My guess is that this one will replace the one beside the Hilton, which will be transformed into their huge new Hilton Convention/entertainment space that is part of their expansion.
This Days Inn location (Days Inn - Niagara Falls, Fallsview Casino) is actually the first hotel in Canada to display our new logo. Over the next year, you’ll see the same signage on all other locations in Niagara Falls and across Canada and the U.S. The new logo will be used on daysinn.ca and advertising materials beginning in 2008, allowing our hotels ample time to display the new signage. We are pleased to welcome Days Inn - Fallsview Casino to our family, offering our guests greater selection in the Niagara region.

wasnt aware this was fallsview area.
Can I make a suggestion Melissa, the sign is great looking and has a lot of color and is very vibrant, but the new sign is too low to the ground, and is hidden by obstacles right in front of it. If it looks good, show it off and raise it up like they do in the States, you can see their signs for Miles!!
I wonder who reads this blog sometimes, and how do they find us? I have to say it’s pretty neat when managers/directors of companies leave their mark on our little site here
These people are SMART. Where better to learn about their most ardent customers? Do they google themselves? Who knows? But Dan raises a great question….how did we all find Graham’s wonderful blog?
I’ll start…. I was googling the ferris wheel from Maple Leaf Village and caught Graham’s report of the new skywheel. I’ll fill in Mom’s answer as well… I told her about it (duh). : )
We’ll be up for a girls’ weekend on Friday by the way - woo hoo! I’ll be careful between Erie and NY - I know about the speed trap. We’re looking forward to some spectacular blue skys and warmish weather.
I found this site by googling Niagara Falls Attraction Info or something like that. Graham has been a great help our last few big vacations. The biggest was when we Stayed at the Quality Inn - Clifton Hill as we have for 10-15 years straight and ate at the Golden Griddle. I stopped by the site a few seeks later to find out Big changes coming no more Hotel Lobby, Restaurant but now a big Ferris Wheel. This has got to be A in websites about Niagara Falls. Great Job Again Graham.
I found it in spring of 2005…cant remember how though. I love the site, its my first destination on the net everyday. Graham does and awesome job. I think I was one of the first regular visitors.
I believe I was Googling for the Maple Leaf Motel to see if it was still around, and found this site, with this wonderful forum and all the cool links that Graham has.
Karen’s Mom and Karen will be eating high on the hog this weekend on their “girls’ weekend”. Karen’s Dad will be eating baloney sandwiches!!! Woo-Hoo, indeed!!!!!
You can have baloney…and cheese…with your whine.
Very cheesy reply!
I learned from the best!
I feel like I’m in the middle of a family feud here…
Hi, Everyone!
Welcome to my little corner of the world…..my “nutsy” husband of 44 years and our daughter, thirty-something are playing “can you top this!”
He has a wonderful, quick sense of humor and she is definitely her father’s daughter!
Trips to the Falls, all of us in one van…priceless!
I just sit back and enjoy it all!
Well - he started it!!!!
NYAA, NYAA, NYAA, NYAA, NYAA, NYAA!!!!!

Another Days Inn Article about the completed renovations. I posted another article talking about the new logo, but it seems to have disappeared.
