The Fudge Factory opened up late Friday night and looks fantastic. As you can see, the outside of the store is quite impressive. The store has lots of candy (both pre-packaged as well as fresh candy made at the store) as well as a small amount of other retail items. If you’re in the area you should check it out.

i took my daughter and granddaughter to the falls for the day today..we went into the new fudge store..and yup..impressive inside as well…they have the marble table and all..just like the original store did..but on a smaller scale..we couldn’t believe just how big that area is..amazing!…lots of action around the hill for sure..work on the haunted house and the bronto land..but the fire alarm was going off in the hotel and everyone was evacuated..obviousley a false alarm..all the fire trucks took off full sirens to another call..but SO many people…lol..kinda like the middle of august…actually..there were ALOT of people on the hill today..we had to fight for a seat on boston pizza’s patio for lunch…had to drive thru dufferin islands twice to get a parking spot to feed the ducks..everybody had the same idea…lol..oh..and also..at least 1 1/2 dozen work trucks at the A1 hotel on lundy’s lane..roof is all done finally..that fire was over 2 years ago..but i bet it’ll be a pretty nice place to stay when it’s done..well..all new..it should be…lol..they’re working hard on gutting out the hilltop motel..we watched for awhile today..if you stand on onedia drive..you can look up into the rooms..all the ceilings are gone..they had some railings off to make room for the wheelbarrows to dump stuff over the edge into the dumpsters…

oh ya..and by the way..the new paint job on galaxy golf looks great..they were still working on it today..looks really good..

A couple of notes here, the Toronto Power Generating Station exterior is being power washed, which was started a couple of weeks ago and it is looking great. And if you are out at night near the falls they have added some new lights on three levels of the outside of the Fallsview Casino Hotel. I’m not sure yet if I like the change, but it does add a different flavor to the skyline! They change over to a multitude of colors in different sequences, but when they turn to red and green it looks pretty gaudy… kind of like a large Christmas tree. The Haunted House Museum as Suze had mentioned also got a new roof today.
