From the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle:
The weather outside was frightful earlier this month when we ventured up to Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada, with blowing snow and single-digit temperatures. But inside the Americana Conference Resort and Spa, it was a balmy 84 degrees.
Americana’s Waves Indoor Water Park, opened in 2004, was the first of three indoor water parks in Niagara Falls, according to general manager Lorne Conway. A $10 million renovation project resulted in a two-story, 25,000-square-foot water park with a retractable ceiling and a new spa featuring European amenities.
