Niagara Falls Images: Marvel Super Heroes Adventure City

Continuing with the posting from yesterday, the Friday image gallery is of Marvel Super Heroes Adventure City. I went in yesterday to check it out and was a little surprised with the changes. It hasn’t changed dramatically, but it seems like every time I go in there are less games. However, they have changed the back part of it to be the start of the walkway to the Fallsview Waterpark. I’ll write about that another time.

Anyway, I took a few pictures of the games which you can see in the Marvel Super Heroes Adventure City in Winter 2007 image gallery.

Closed level at Skylon Tower

In my posting on the Skylon Tower web site, Adam left a comment about the closed level. I’ve noticed before the level that is closed, but I figured I’d take a picture so you’d know what he was talking about. There are escalators on either side of the tower that go down to the games area. On each side there is also an escalator that goes up to another level. As you can see by the pictures, the level up is boarded up.

Reaching for the sky

From Niagara This Week:

Niagara This Week looks at the city’s soaring skyrises in a three-part series. Part one: the evolution of the skyline

A new hotel tower for the Fallsview tourist district is just another sign of the good fortunes the Honeymoon Capital has enjoyed since the first casino opened its doors in the city a decade ago.

A drab, dull and flat skyline in Niagara Falls has been undergoing a dramatic metamorphosis into an exciting, multi-tiered horizon over the last decade and will soon reach into the sky like never before.
