Niagara Falls Web Sites: Falls.com

The web site I highlight this week is Falls.com. This is the site run by Niagara Clifton Group. They operate a good portion of the operations on the north side of Clifton Hill.

The site is pretty basic with only minimal information about the operations. Each page that they do have is almost like an online brochure. There are a lot of tag lines such as “Experience Old Fashioned Family Fun” for the Fun House and “A Ghost in Every Corner” for the Haunted House.

As is often the case, the site does a decent job of providing information about the Travelodge At The Falls hotel. There are pictures showing each room, and links to book those rooms that take you to the main Travelodge web site.

Another good part of the site is that there are coupons, and they are very easy to find. There are coupons for virtually all of the operations that they run.

Get your picture taken at the Skylon Tower

As has been discussed, there isn’t much to do at the Skylon Tower anymore at ground level. On the main level, they have a couple of gift shops, and then they have several places to get your picture taken.

Niagara Daredevil Over the Falls in a Barrel - You can get your picture taken and it looks like you’re going over the Falls.

Niagara Rapids Adventure - You can have your picture taken and it looks like you are going down the river

Showtime Pictures - This is a more modern setup where you can have your picture taken on a green backdrop before you go up the tower. Then when you come down, you can head over to the Showtime Pictures kiosk and view your picture and decide whether you want to buy it or not.

A Perfect Getaway Overlooking Niagara Falls

A friend of mine sent me a copy of a newsletter they had received from the Embassy Suites Fallsview. The newsletter says that she received it because she had stayed at a Hilton (corporate head of Embassy Suites) hotel before. Also, the email from sent from the Hilton corporate mailing list as opposed to something local.

Essentially all the newsletter does is take you to the main Embassy Suites site with the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls / Fallsview page showing.
