Have you been to Niagara Falls? If not, you have missed one of the charming faces of Americana.
I have done a fair amount of traveling, but I never enjoy it as much as when I travel to learn. Now when I go places, I take notes, not just photographs. I even ask questions of tour guides rather than heckle them for fun.
More people should try keeping a contemporaneous travel journal. Reviewing vacation notes allows you to enjoy the trip again (cheaper) and recall facts that otherwise would be just disconnected fragments.
A person could visit Niagara and watch water fall, or go there and record what there is to learn.
