This is old news, but I finally took a picture of it recently. The Cadillac Motel on Ferry Street looks like it’s been closed for a while now. There has been a forsale sign on one part of the building for a year or so.
It’s a crummy place for a motel, but a restaurant or retail shop might do ok.
Chris used their sign for one if his Photos of the Day in late April of last year.

Was this location ever closed? Not that I would stay there but I remember reading about this but I came across their website checking out hotels for my families next visit.
I don’t think it was every really closed. I’m pretty sure someone bought it, but I haven’t been able to confirm it yet.
