Chance Morgan Selected to Supply Giant Gondola Wheel to HOCO Entertainment & Resorts

This is old news (view the PDF of the press release), but I haven’t posted it before:

Wichita, KS – June 30, 2005 – Chance Morgan is pleased to announce the sale of a 175-foot tall Giant Gondola Wheel to HOCO Entertainment & Resorts. Designed by Ronald Bussink Professional Rides based in Appenzell, Switzerland, the Giant Wheel Type R60 SV will be manufactured in both the United States and in Europe. “The superior design of Ronald Bussink, combined with the manufacturing strength of Chance Morgan, makes the R60 the premier Giant Wheel product available in the market today,” remarked Harry Oakes, HOCO President.

The Giant Gondola Wheel features fully enclosed gondolas for a climate-controlled ride year around. After completion, the ride will be located in the Clifton Hill Area of Niagara Falls, Ontario. It’s slated for installation in the spring of 2006. The Giant Wheel is part of a 3-phase, $100 million development project expected to take 5 to 10 years to complete.
