Cast ballot for Most Notable

    From the Niagara Falls Review:

Now is the perfect opportunity to brush up on the city’s history, while having a little fun trying to decide who is Niagara Falls’ Most Notable.

There is still time to pick up a ballot because the nomination deadline has been extended for a contest that is being sponsored by the City of Niagara Falls Heritage Week Committee, the Niagara Falls Public Library and the City of Niagara Falls Museums.

The original deadline was Dec. 24, but it has been pushed back so more people can participate, said Debbie Legge, Educational Programmer for the Niagara Falls Museums.

The new deadline is Jan. 7.

The nominee must be a person from the past who helped make Niagara Falls what it is today. It could be someone who was innovative in enhancing or discovering one of Niagara’s growth industries, or someone who gave generously and selflessly and has left a legacy, said Legge.

I’m sure Sir Harry Oaks will be nominated…
