On Saturday I received the latest email newsletter from the Fallsview Casino Resort. It’s the “Entertainment Insider”.
From a PRWeb press release seen on Yahoo! News:
With a little glitz and a lot of live music and entertainment, Niagara Fallsview Boulevard is the most happening place in Niagara Falls, Ontario this summer. Just 500 yard from the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, Fallsview Boulevard features the newest Niagara Falls Ontario hotels; the Las Vegas-style Fallsview Casino Resort; and a wide variety of restaurants and bars unique to Niagara Falls.
By day, there is no shortage of thrills in the Fallsview Boulevard area with such popular Niagara Falls attractions as Skylon Tower, with a revolving restaurant at the top, among other entertainment; Niagara Falls Freefall; Konica Minolta Tower; and the IMAX Theatre, which includes the Daredevil’s Museum, home to actual barrels in which people have gone over the Falls.
On Saturday I received a newsletter from Fallsview Casino Resort called The Entertainment Insider. I think this is the first one that I’ve received, and I can’t remember how I got signed up. I haven’t received any emails from the casino in months.
On Sunday I received another newsletter from Canyon Creek Chophouse.
I received this email newsletter from Canyon Creek Chophouse last Tuesday. They were promoting an event for the next day.
I have no idea how I got on a mailing list for them, but I’m quite happy to receive them.
From the Niagara Falls Review
There’s a sense of pride in having a part in building a high-rise that changes the landscape of a city, says Jason Bradshaw whose Niagara Falls ironworks company specializes in structural steel work at construction sites.
“It’s not very often you do a job that’s 55 storeys. Where is there a 55-storey building close to us?” said the owner of Bradshaw Iron Works, a company that works out of shop in rural Niagara Falls.
There aren’t any. You have to go to Toronto or New York City to find buildings as tall as the new 58-storey Hilton Niagara hotel.
A crew of seven is wrapping up work on the Hilton Niagara hotel, now the tallest hotel in Niagara Falls. They’ve been putting the steel structure in place on the high-profile project, across the street from the Fallsview Casino.
