This is probably nothing, but right beside the Diplomat Inn on Stanley Avenue there is a lot of dirt. It’s an empty lot. I don’t know if anyone is leveling the ground preparing it for a future development, or if it just a temporary place to put the dirt from some other development.
There used to be paving stones (interlocking bricks) along Victoria Ave near the top of Clifton Hill, as well as a grass area. Recently that was all dug up and the fence for the new go-kart development has been moved out closer to the street.
