From the Niagara Gazette:
With the Flight of Angels permanently grounded, city officials and the Cordish Co. have turned their attention toward bringing a new development in to fill the void left downtown.
The vacant property, located at 310 Rainbow Blvd. and owned by Baltimore-based Cordish, is in a prime location about a block away from the Niagara Falls State Park. It also serves as the entrance into the West Pedestrian Mall, which is targeted for an $8 million upgrade next year.
“Obviously, the city is hoping for a higher density use for that property,†Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster said. “We’re looking for a long-term investment of something with lasting value that would do that location justice.â€
