Falls second by a nose in winter lights contest

    From Niagara This Week:

Niagara Falls has earned the distinction of being second brightest among the country’s brightest stars in a national lights competition which also measures community spirit and pride.

The city placed second with a score of 90.6 in the WinterLights Celebration’s winner’s circle category, a class for cities that have won the contest before. Stratford won the category while Woodstock placed third in a close race, said Heidi Werner, the operations co-ordinator for Winter Festival of Lights and a member of the city’s WinterLights committee.
