Fire destroys part of Falls mini putt property

Police and fire officials are investigating an early morning fire that destroyed part of the Jungle Putt and Freddie’s Ice Cream property on Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls.

Niagara Falls Fire Chief Lee Smith said they received a call at around 5 a.m. and about 25 firefighters responded to the 911 call.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the back half of a building on the property fully engulfed in flames, he said.
