From Niagara This Week:
The Scotiabank Convention Centre is looking for a new president and general manager.
Kerry Painter, president and general manager of the Stanley Avenue facility, is no longer with the Centre. The news came following a meeting of the centre’s board of directors on Wednesday morning.
Sources, who did not want to be identified, said Painter’s “termination was performance related” but councillor Wayne Thomson, who is also chair of the convention board, said that isn’t the case at all.
