Information on WEGO transportation system (People Mover replacement)

As a frequent visitor to Niagara Falls, I was lucky enough to take advantage with the People Movers Bus Line operated by the Niagara Parks Commission. On 8-13-12 The WEGO Bus line took over for the People Movers bringing transportation in Niagara Falls to a more current and highly functioning operation not to mention a larger travel area. Please check out a little information about the WEGO Bus line.

WEGO connects you to Niagara Falls accommodations and the tourist areas. WEGO is part of a partnership between the City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Parks Commission. To provide bus service to visiting tourist. WEGO delivers people’s connections between tourist attractions within the city and Niagara Parks, helping you to experience all that Niagara Falls has to offer. WEGO is fully accessible and will operate year-round, giving easy, convenient service to travelers from around the globe who visit Niagara Falls. At Niagara Parks, WEGO  replaces the familiar fleet of People mover buses which have operated seasonally for over 26 years.

WEGO features four different bus lines that all meet in Niagara Parks at Table Rock next to the Horseshoe Falls. This is the main transfer hub from the Blue, Red and Purple lines serving the city tourist areas, to the Green line that runs through Niagara Parks.

The Four Lines are:

Green Line – Niagara Parks

Blue Line – Fallsview, Victoria Centre, Clifton Hill

Red Line – Lundy’s Lane

Purple Line – Downtown Queen Street

WEGO operates daily from as early as 9 a.m. to as late as 1 a.m., April through October. A WEGO bus will arrive at most stops every 20 to 30 minutes. Modified service will be offered November through March.

48-Hour Pass – Adults $11.50 and Kids $8.00

October 25 to April 14

Ride the Second Day Free – Adults $7.00 and Kids $4.00

Adults = 13+ Years

Kids = 6-12 Years

Kids under 6 Ride Free
