We waved goodbye to our VIA Canada train as we jumped off on the Canadian side of the falls.

The Falls themselves are beautiful but nonetheless appeared swamped by their gaudy surroundings. The obligatory Maid of the Mist boat trip was done, we had our photo taken in front of a green screen (the Falls were later super-imposed, despite the real thing being only a few metres away), we mucked around in the gift shop and then spent the rest of the evening eating, playing on arcades and generally bemused.
