It may be a natural gem, but some people are wondering about the economic future of the United States’ side of Niagara Falls.
For even a first time tourist, the difference between Niagara Falls, Ontario and Niagara Falls, New York is pretty clear. But don’t expect to see any drastic changes to the American side anytime soon.
Carol Ash is the newly appointed New York State Park’s Commissioner. The state senate confirmed her for the appointment on Wednesday. “Directly after the confirmation, we got in the car and we drove to Niagara Falls,” said Ash.
Ash is on a road trip of sorts visiting all the state parks across New York. But Niagara Falls is on the top of her list and she has some ideas for growth and development.
