Update on Bronto’s Adventure Playland

You will recall that last week I emailed the Niagara Clifton Group asking about the new Bronto’s Adventure Playland. I received a reply on Saturday (3 days after my original email) from Debbie Graham, Director of Attractions:

Thank you very much for your interest in our new attraction. We are anticipating an opening in late July. We have not determined our pricing as of yet but I believe we will be priced similar to our other attractions which are currently in the range of $6.99 – $10.99. The attraction will be located next to the Haunted House. We are in the process of updating our website to include information about Bronto’s Adventure Playland. Please check www.falls.com for updates as we post them.

I just checked the Falls.com web site again, and there is still no information.

Clifton Hill Resorts Update - Mid April 2007

On Friday I received the latest issue of the Clifton Hill Resorts Update. They are promoting packages that include either Marineland passes or Niagara Parks Adventure Passes.

U.S. officials flexible on border plan: Bradley

From the Niagara Falls Review:

The idea of using upgraded driver’s licences instead of passports at the border is gaining traction, Ontario Tourism Minister Jim Bradley said Monday, and Americans are showing flexibility on the start date for new documents.

After meeting with officials at the U.S. State Department and Homeland Security, Bradley said they realize the new security program can’t be implemented all at once on Jan. 1, 2008.

“I certainly see them recognizing there’s a need for a transition period. I’d say a new flexibility seems to be quite evident,” he said.
