When Wacky Wings first opened, it received a lot of positive comments here from visitors. Perhaps the honeymoon is over. The place has been closed for about a month. The signs haven’t changed, the chairs are all put away, and there were notices from Niagara Falls Hydro lying on the ground.

I actually think its been closed longer than one month. When I was there in January it had the same sign, and wasnt open for the entire week I was there.
Your right… time flies! The sign is advertising Cyber Sunday (a WWE pay-per-view) which aired November 5, 2006.
What’d they serve there at wacky wings, without sounding like a complete idiot?
I actually never ate there, Ive been to the bar in there a few times, however I think it was called Sin City at the time? I cant remember. Wasnt this a Ponderosa at one point back about 8-9 years ago? Or was that Tony Romas? I remember Ponderosa and a Greek restaurant with a bright ugly orange roof.
Yeah, this place was the Ponderosa, although it was after the chain pulled out of Canada so I don’t know if it was an independant thing or what. It didn’t last too long. The Greek restaurant (which was a Howard Johnsons originally, hence the orange roof) was remodelled into Tony Roma’s.
Wow, I dont know how or why I remember that. I think I ate at the ponderosa once, gross.
I ate there once with my friends and I really didn’t like it, I found all the wings tasted the same, medium !! if you guys want some good wings check out Honest Lawyers on St.Paul Street in St.Catharines on mondays, its all you can eat wings for $10.99 and they’ve got 20 different flavors, they’re awesome !
I’ve eaten at the Honest Lawyer on their Monday night special. I found the wings to be cold and I didn’t like the fact that you had to go up and get the wings yourself, especially since you were only given a few wings at a time.
i ate there a couple of times and they were the best wings i ever had all the flavours were differnt and were tatsy i hope they open somewhere else ps the honest laywer has horrible wings they can not even compare
