In keeping with the new daily features, Wednesday is video day. Last week I took a video in front of the Fallsview Casino. You can see the snow and ice around the fountains, and a couple of the hotels around the area (including the construction going on at the Hilton where the Denny’s used to be). It was very bright and windy that day so it was hard to get a clear, steady video.

Cool video as always! Not related, but I saw on trip advisor that the movie Niagara w/marilyn monroe, there is a plaque in a park mentioning the movie? Ive been to the are probably 200 times,never knew such a thing existed? Anyone help me with this, where is it any pics of it online? Im very suprised, haha and i made my username niagara because of the movie, i like it quite a bit. wow, never knew this if its true…kinda ashamed!
Niagara, I believe that the plaque is in the little cobblestone enclosure right along the railing not too far from the Maid of the Mist complex. There used to be a few of these in the Park, but I think this is the only one left. The actual set and fake motel was near Table Rock.
I was out today and looked for the plaque, but couldn’t find anything.
For those who weren’t visiting the site in 2005, I had several postings about the movie including screenshots and information from a book about the movie. You can search for Marilyn Monroe on this site and you should see them all.
