Niagara Falls Web Sites: CliftonHill.com

The regular Tuesday feature will be a highlight of a web site that has to do with Niagara Falls. I figured I’d start off with the easy/obvious ones first, so today I will highlight CliftonHill.com.

Clifton Hill is the street with all the attractions. There are dozens of them, but they are all owned by a handful of companies. Perhaps the biggest one on that street is HOCO Limited, which owns and operates the entire south side of Clifton Hill (except for the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum). The CliftonHill.com web site focuses on all of the HOCO attractions, hotels and restaurants, and also includes links to some of the other operations in the area. However, as far as I can tell, it does NOT link to any of the competitors on Clifton Hill itself. That’s unfortunate as visitors may expect the site to provide information on everything to do on that street. But I do understand why a company would choose not to promote competitors.

The site is very well done, and has a blog and an image gallery as well. There are links to various web cams, maps, history, and more. If you’ve been planning on a trip to Niagara Falls, then you probably have already visited the site. If not, then you should! It is probably the nicest operator’s web site in the city.
