As mentioned previously, the Fun House on Clifton Hill is undergoing a face lift. I’m sure it will look much more attractive. I haven’t heard if they are doing anything on the inside.

we were there yesterday for the day to take our 14 month old granddaughter to see the lights and also to feed the ducks at dufferin island..well..if you want a good laff..take a small child with a loaf of bread..i’ve never heard a baby laff so hard before…lol..anyhow..the lights were great as usual..so many more this year…love the coloured tree branches..looks so kewl..saw the huge tarp over the funhouse..this mighta been mentioned before..if so i missed it..but the baskin robbins that closed down is now across the street in the bottom of the hotel..well..*see* ya’ll at new years..heard from boston pizza staff last night that new years eve on the hill is awesome!..can’t wait..and the hilltop hotel is opening for the new years weekend too…no better view of the hill..by the way..boston pizza will be open till 4am new years eve!!
oh..i forgot to mention…we were really surprised to see just how big the area is where the tower was..didn’t look that big when the base was there…the hill’s skyline sure looks different without it now…
With regards to the Baskin Robbins…
There had been 2 on that street for awhile. I’m not sure for how long, but at least a year or two. They were run by different operators. I guess it makes sense that the street couldn’t support 2. I would have thought that the Baskin Robbins/Mr. Sub combo would have been successful, but I guess not. The Baskin Robbins in the hotel has the benefit of being run by the hotel people (I assume), so there would be no rent.
Does anyone know when this will be completed? Also the fallstower?
just a thought…are any of you gonna be near the hill on new years eve??
