Another floor is going up at the new Motel 6:

All things Niagara Falls tourism…
From the Niagara Falls Review:
A cold wind blows across the Niagara Parks Commission grounds near the old Toronto Powerhouse property. The flower beds have been culled for the season. A garden near the parking lot holds the remnants of hostas, lying limp and faded in the November air.
It looks and feels like winter.
But inside, the Niagara Parks Commission’s Floral Showhouse is awash with colour.
The temperature hovers at a balmy 21 C, and visitors quickly unbutton their coats as they pass through the doors…
The Floral Showhouse might be the busiest place in the Niagara Parks Commission, but the parking lot is nearly empty. It is, in many ways, a hidden gem - a place visitors stumble upon when they’re looking for something else.
From the Niagara Falls Review:
Vivian has flown the coop and landed in Niagara Falls. The 211/42-foot tall Victoria crowned pigeon is the latest addition to Bird Kingdom Niagara Falls.
Vivian is on a short-term loan from the Toronto Zoo, and will live at the Niagara Falls aviary until she is assigned a new home in the United States.
Crowned pigeons are the largest pigeon species in the world and one of the most stunning.
Deep grey-blue in color, Vivian has red eyes and a unique spiky plumage sprouting from the top of her head.
