Golden Griddle sign / balloon

I’ve mentioned previously that the Golden Griddle that is part of the Imperial Hotel & Suites is now open. It looks quite nice. They have beautiful hanging baskets hanging around the patio, and they have fresh signs on the awning as well as on the side of the building (that’s what the red letters are). For the time being, they also have a Golden Griddle cat (or whatever that thing is) balloon on the roof.

Anti-Marineland sign

This billboard is by the Dairy Queen at the corner of Stanley Avenue and Lundy’s Lane (or Ferry Street, I’m not sure what it’s called at that point):

The text of the billboard is as follows:

Everyone loves their freedom!

Please don’t support places that keep whales & dolphins in captivity

This message presented by Niagara Action for Animals and Zoocheck Canada. For more info, go to www.zoocheck.com

Now they don’t specifically mention Marineland, but that is obviously the place they don’t want us to support. I’m not sure how effective the message is. If anything, there may be people who drive by and see a beautiful picture of an Orca whale and decide they want to go see them.
