Loonie day at museums to benefit Cystic Fibrosis

    From Niagara This Week:

…the 17th annual Loonie Museum Day fundraiser will run Jan. 8…

Loonie Museum Day will open the doors to 15 attractions on Clifton Hill for only $1 for residents of Niagara Falls. The fundraiser has made as much as $8,000 in one day in the past and Clayton said she hopes families will take full advantage of the promotion this year before their children head back to school…

Loonie Museum Day will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and residents wanting to visit the attractions need to show proof of their residence in the city, whether that means flashing their driver’s license or showing their hydro bill. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
