Icewine Festival So Cold, It’s Hot

While this isn’t exactly Niagara Falls news, it is certainly Niagara Region news, and many people who come to Niagara Falls also end up visiting the wineries in the area.

    From Niagara This Week:

The cold comes to mind when winter and icewine are brought up, but come January, Niagara-on-the-Lake will warm up with Canada’s largest icewine festival.

The Niagara Icewine Festival is returning to town for 10 days of winter festival fun, featuring the best icewine vintages area wineries have to offer. Beginning Jan. 13, the wineries, along with Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Old Town heritage district, will host a series of events that feature the best in wine, entertainment and culinary delights.
