New Outback Steakhouse on Victoria Ave almost ready to open
Last week the signs on the new Outback Steakhouse on Victoria Ave were put up. Things look great inside (I’ve seen in from the windows), so I assume they will be opening very soon.

The building at the corner of Centre St and Ellen Ave where Ma Agretto’s used to be is coming along. The foundation/basement and ground floor are there, and they are working on the second floor.

I’m not sure what the name of the restaurant is going to be called, but the new building that is going in place of Ma Agretto’s is rising steadily.

Back in February (wow, time flies!) I posted a Notice of Application and Public Meeting at Ma Agretto’s. They were trying to eliminate parking requirements for a new restaurant. Well, recently the place had a fence around it, it was torn down, and now there is just a hole in the ground!
