Back in June I posted about the new attraction that is going in where Brick City was located. As you may recall, that building was torn down and it is an empty lot right now. The lot is fenced off and there are signs up showing the name of the attraction and that it is opening soon. Well, here we are at the end of the summer, and nothing has been done yet.
I was surprised to see that they’ve even had leaflets available talking about the new attraction. I would assume it will be open for next year, but only time will tell.
You can download a PDF of the Big Top leaflet as well.
I wouldn’t normally post about something like this, but when I saw the dumpsters full of mattresses at the Best Western Fallsview, I figured I’d take a picture. I figure there were around 70 mattresses in the two dumpsters.
From the Niagara Falls Review:
That’s what most people were saying on the weekend after getting their first opportunity to tour the new $100-million Scotiabank Convention Centre on Stanley Ave., near Dunn St., in Niagara Falls.
The biggest headache for most drivers was getting stuck in long lines of traffic just making their way to the centre, and then trying to find a parking spot.
On Saturday afternoon, there were times when cars were backed up on Stanley Ave., all the way to Ferry St., and it wasn’t much better for those coming from the south end at McLeod Rd.
