Empty lot on Stanley Avenue
I posted a couple of weeks ago about the house on Stanley Avenue by the Macs (near the corner of Ferry Street) that was torn down. It is a very large lot, that I assume will sit empty for quite a while.

A new restaurant opened up recently beside Macs on Ferry St. In the past it was a fortune teller location, but was normally closed and boarded up. It has been renovated and looks quite nice now. It is called Potato Jackets

The former Tony Roma’s at the corner of Ferry St and Ellen Ave, which turned into Pip’s City Diner, is now going to reopen as Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar and Grill. I’ve never heard of it before, but apparently it is a chain.
Back in July you may recall that Bravo Pizzeria + Grill had a fire. They have been closed for 4+ months, but they will be reopening next week. According to their website, it was an electrical fire caused by one of their exterior signs.

The AAAA Royal Motel on Ferry St has recently changed its name to the Fallsview Lodge. They are still replacing all of the signs.
