From the Niagara Falls Review: Fear not, revellers – New Year’s Eve at Queen Victoria Park is still on. With just seven weeks to go before 2008 arrives, there still hasn’t been word about who is playing the annual free show down by the falls. Or even if there would be a show this year….
The Golden Griddle next to the Imperial Hotel & Suites used to have a covered entrance way. I think it was a patio, but it wasn’t very nice. Recently they have taken down the cover and made it into a much nicer patio.

From Niagara This Week: Nearly $5 million more was added to city coffers as The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) issued its third-quarter payment for hosting two casinos. In total, the OLG paid the city $4,780,702 for hosting Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort.
