I know this is kind of old news, but I still wanted to post about it, along with some photos:
From the Niagara Falls Review:
The Niagara SkyWheel on Clifton Hill will be closed until May 1 for maintenance.
The attraction closed last Friday.
Joel Noden, director of marketing for HOCO Entertainment and Resorts, said part of the work includes some dismantling of the wheel itself to get into its hub.
He said it’s possible the attraction could open before May 1, “if everything goes right.”
In case you haven’t seen it, it is kind of odd not seeing the wheel there. It has been such a landmark for a decade or more.
