New York State will consider other sites for a lodge near Niagara Falls, the local chief of Empire State Development said Wednesday, after local officials criticized Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s proposal to build a lodge on Goat Island.
But Sam Hoyt said local officials who believe, based on conversations with him, that the Goat Island lodge proposal is dead haven’t got the story right.
