A new service provider could operate the two casinos in Niagara Falls in 2019.
Ontario Lottery and Gaming has notified Falls Management Group, which operates Fallsview Casino and Casino Niagara on OLG’s behalf, it will not be extending its contract beyond its original term, which ends June 10, 2019.
Instead, OLG expects to issue a request for pre qualification this summer as part of a process to enter a new operating agreement under a new modernization plan.
OLG spokesman Tony Bitonti said Falls Management Group is free to take part in the bidding process.
