From the Buffalo News:
Nik Wallenda has run into some last-minute hang-ups in his attempt to wire-walk across Niagara Falls.
But the daredevil and his supporters say the walk will go off without a hitch when the final details are sorted out this week — and they say the event will bring an unexpected benefit to the American side.
Wallenda was told Tuesday that the helicopter he planned to use to string the 1,800-foot cable across the Niagara Gorge does not have the proper Federal Aviation Administration permits to make the trip, putting the setup for his much-anticipated stunt in jeopardy.
