Johnny Peppers is a restaurant

Ok, maybe I’m a bit slow here, but for some reason I thought that Johnny Peppers was going to be another bar/club like Cantina Charlies. However, apparently it is a restaurant. They recently put up the smaller text up on the building that says:

  • Great Italian Grill
  • Wood Fired Pizza and Deli

  4. My friend and I came to Johnny Peppers today (March 7, 2012) for lunch, but DIDN’T GET ANY SERVICE….We walked in, and everyone who was there, (bartender, two cooks, and a couple people in suits standing around, who I am assuming was the owners or management) and that was it, so no tables of people eating. It was 12pm, so lunch time, they just watched us walk in and sit down. We sat there for about 5 minutes and no one even said hello to us. So, my girl friend went up to the bar and asked if we could have some menus, so the bartender was just about to PASS the menus over to my friend when my friend then said “is anyone going to serve us?”….so the bartender took the menus back and then walked them to our table, and didn’t take a drink order…she just walked away. Then we continued to wait for her or ANYONE to come and take our drink or food order, and no one came. So, we got up and left. I guess they make enough money on there good looks, cause they don’t like to serve people lunch, that’s for sure. Unless they could tell we were business people and not tourist. Maybe that is who they are trying to serve only. It’s too bad, because we were excited to try it. The only plus I saw was it was very nice inside, but can’t say anything nice about food or drinks….. So, we had to leave and go somewhere else for lunch…

  5. The food was average. The wood fired pizza is definitley not the best like the supposed other 1000 people have told them. The service was slow. The server was friendly but did not understand an order change. The worst part of the whole dinner was the “goomba” who was maybe the owner?, smoking on the patio while we were trying to enjoy our dinner. Disgusting. Smoke somewhere else and have respect for your paying customers. Don’t waste your time or money here.

  6. Horrible experience.. Server stacey clarke would not listen to any of my questions nor would she answer. She seemed very condesending. Over all though great food.

  7. Awful awful awful!! This restaurant is incredibly disorganized and far understaffed.
I nominate it for one those “restaurant makeover” shows cuz it seriously needs help.
Please don’t waste your hard-earned dollars here. It’s truly not worth it.
In fact, that’s what I told the patrons at the table next to us.
