Sea of New Year’s Eve revellers floods Niagara Falls

From the Niagara Falls Review (includes video):

A great big sea of New Year’s Eve revellers flooded Niagara Falls where a lineup of popular entertainers and unusually warm weather led to a bigger-than-normal crowd for the annual concert in Queen Victoria Park.

Barenaked Ladies, Great Big Sea and rapper Kardinal Offishall ushered in 2011 from a stage overlooking the Horseshoe Falls and tens of thousands of fans.

“The new year will bring good things for all of us. Most of us… Many of us,” Barenaked Ladies singer Ed Robertson joked with the audience.
