Graham, do you purposely delay posting deals until after the event is over?
Sorry about that John. No, I don’t do it deliberately. Sometimes I get 4 or 5 newsletter within a day or two of each other, and I generally like to only post one a day. It may take a day or two to do something with them, and then I’ll usually go ahead and get them all ready and schedule them. This means that it may be anywhere from a day up to 4 or 5 days after I receive it that it gets posted. If something is going to expire, I generally try to put it up ahead of the others. I guess I just missed this one.
Honestly? Do people not know the difference between a non partisan independent blog as opposed to a financed advertising agency working for these tourist hotels? Not trying to offend you John, but Graham doesn’t owe us a thing!
I guess my post came off in the wrong tone. I get all these same emails too, and was made aware of it last week.
I was just curious as to if Graham was purposely posting deals after the event, or if it was just a coincidence. I have seen Graham post many of these deals after the sale is over. I was beginning to think that perhaps Graham had a bad experience with one of these hotels complaining that he was posting their promotions for anyone to see, and not just subscribers to their mailing list. Now I know that he is just spacing the content out, and doesn’t have some arterial motive.

I should probably be little more with it when it comes to posting things on time…
