From the Niagara Falls Review:
A massive shakeup at Ontario Lottery and Gaming could resolve some of Niagara’s issues with the government agency that oversees Ontario’s casinos and lotteries, Niagara sources say.
A new board of directors and new management could settle Casino Niagara’s long-term future, said Dino A. DiCienzo, a vice-president of the Canadian Niagara Hotels, the casino’s landlord.
“Very short-term, it will be a setback,” he said after the government cleaned house at OLG Monday. “Over and above that, it will be a good thing moving forward. You’ll see the OLG wanting to move forward,” DiCienzo said.
