From Buffalo Business First:
Meeting planners from a handful of New York state associations will be in Niagara Falls this week as the Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. makes a pitch to land their business.
The planners will be in Niagara Falls for three days, beginning Wednesday, for a familiarization, or “fam” tour.
“These types of ‘fam’ tours are important to our business because the best way to sell the area is to have the meeting planners come and experience it first hand,” said John Percy, NTCC president and chief executive officer.
I can’t remember how I came across this the other day, but regardless, apparently there is a hotel in the area that is for sale. I don’t know which one it is…

Someone with a Blogger blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls:
We just went away overnight, but it was very refreshing. We spent Thursday at Niagara Falls. If you have never visited Niagara Falls, you are definitely missing something amazing. We’ve been three or four other times ourselves (and James probably countless times beyond that), but we enjoy it so much every time we go. It kinda felt like we were on our honeymoon.
