No longer “Marvel”-ous?

Over the last couple of weeks there have been some sign trucks outside of Marvel Superheroes Adventure City. They were taking down the big Incredible Hulk on the sign on Clifton Hill. I just figured they were putting up a new sign, when someone pointed out to me that all of the Marvel logos and words were gone. This person said that they had “lost” the right to use the name. I don’t know if that is true or not, but there is no doubt that the Marvel name is gone from everything. If Canadian Niagara Hotels chose themselves to stop using the Marvel name, they should have been more prepared. This all looks like they had to get rid of the signs quickly. But like I said, I don’t know.

Their web site has already been updated. The Spider-Man ride is now called Urban Jungle. The Combat Cars are just called Bumper Cars. Spidey and Friends Funhouse is now called Spikey and Friends. Seems pretty lame to me!

Spider-Man Adventure Ride is totally closed right now (I forgot to take a picture). The sign outside shows that it is just the Man Ride.

The Incredible Hulk Encounter became the Incredible Hulk Mini Golf, and it is now just Mini Golf

The big tall blue triangle used to have a giant Incredible Hulk on it. Not anymore.

This sign by the Rainforest Cafe and WWE used to have a big Spider-Man on it. Not anymore.

I guess it is still an Adventure City, it just doesn’t have a theme now.

You can see pictures of the way it used to be in the Marvel Super Heroes Adventure City gallery.
