I would think that we’ll start seeing the SkyWheel rising up soon. It looks like all of the work has been done in the ground. There is some sort of a building that has been built which I assume will be a control room. It had dozens and dozens of conduits coming out of the building all along the ground to some of the leg foundations I took pictures of before. It looks like the next step is the wheel…

Do you know anything on the Clifton Hill Walkway sign that is in the picture?
There is no special walkway… it is just that because of the construction its hard to tell what the best way to get out to the street (Clifton Hill) is. I guess calling it a “walkway” is better than calling it “the best way we could get you through the dirt to the street”…
